Saffron

Despite her colouring Saffron is a deceptively spooky little elephant who loves all things autumn simply becasue it is the time of year that everything starts to rot and die back for the winter, she knows it’s a little odd but she finds comfort in the cycle of the seasons. Saffron stands 10.5cm (4 1/8″) tall (including her horns) though she cannot stand unaided so much prefers to sit where she is then just 10cm (4″) tall.

Made from a super soft short pile faux fur in a lovely sunny yellow colour and with polycotton inner ears and foot pads that feature a tiny tan and red dogtooth pattern Saffron is firmly stuffed with a combination of clean steel disk weights, highloft polyester and heavy fiberfill stuffings. She has glossy black glass eyes and is five way jointed with a cotter pin for her head and thread jointed arms and legs. She has delicate horns made from curly moss and carries a seedpod that she’s been using to collect lost and forgotten treasures, including a tiny skull handsculpted from polymer clay.

If you think you can handle a walking sunbeam with a deceptively dark side, you might be just the person to give Saffron a much needed forever home. If you choose Saffron she will come to you wearing an identification tag stating her name and date of birth.
